Who we are...
Humane Kansas Legislative Network was created to give a voice to the Kansas animal welfare community in the Kansas Legislature.

It will accomplish this goal by forming a coalition of national and state associations, organizations, businesses, and individuals who support stronger state laws to protect animals from inhumane treatment, cruelty, abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

Humane Kansas will educate lawmakers and their constituents on issues of importance to the animal welfare community, propose and support legislation that serves the interests of animal welfare, oppose legislation that does not serve those interests, and raise funds to support these efforts.

Through combining resources, Humane Kansas will more effectively represent the interests of the animal welfare community to the benefit of all Kansans.
